Fantasy sports should be legal around the same time the Louisiana legislature will discuss the legalization of sports betting in April.

Friday is first time sites can apply for a license. Sucks that we have to wait 60 days to approve DK and FD.

Talked to Ronnie Johns and Kirk Talbot today, they seem to think fantasy sports will be here in the "Fall"

Applications for licensing began Monday.
This is just my opinion but the reason it will take so long to approve these sites is because our gaming commission will need to test and make sure the geofencing is by parish. Draftkings and FanDuel already have this in place. These should be approved no longer than 2 months and some people should start getting some emails from these sites to test within a month.

Are you signed up at draftkings and FanDuel? That should be all you need. That’s how they rolled it out in Mississippi.
