Went Bell @ 1 in my main league last week. Felt good about his consistency in PPR. Just assumed the hold out wouldn’t be an issue like last year. Now we are into week 1 and he still hasn’t reported nor does anyone know anything.

If this is his stance going forward, I fear he may not be the guy he has been in the past on the field.

Talk me off the ledge....How are my fellow Bell owners feeling today?

Could be worse, you could have drafted McKinnon.

That was a big reason I chose slot 9 instead of 2. I didn’t want to deal w the what if’s of him not showing up. You may have to just deal with it for a couple of weeks. I can’t see any way he sits out long term, but who knows. .?

In the same boat as you. It sucks major arse, but we knew the risk of this possibly happening the entire time. Got no one to blame but myself.

Bells worth a first pick in the top 5, even if he misses *3 games. He will still be one of the more valuable RBS in fantasy. Hes missed 17 games over the last 5 years and he still leads the NFL in all purpose yards by almost a thousand.

He could show up tomorrow and have his best ever season for all I know.

But I damn sure wouldn't have drafted him 1-3.

That's mostly because I hate taking ANY risk that early.

hasnt he proved 3 or 4 times that he can miss the first 2-4 games and still finish in the top 5?

With Steeler Nation and multiple sources saying Bell is going the route of sitting to preserve his body for free agency, I’d be melting hard

He has but I should have seriously considered him holding out more than I did and gone Gurley. Sure Gurley could regress or get hurt, but that’s not predictable...Bell holding out was .....

Yeah I don’t think anybody really expected him to go through with the hold out in this fashion, you maybe can still move him because of his name and someone willing to take a risk to salvage some value. If he doesn’t report until week 10, I’d rather have players that have production ability

Sure.

But this is his last year in Pittsburgh. The offseason was yet ANOTHER year that they didn't give him the years he wanted. And he can sit out 10 games, finish the last 6, and be done with this situation that he doesn't like.

I have no idea what he'll do. But him holding out this year was much more realistic than the last times.

With pick 1-3 there would have been absolutely no way I would have taken him.

My kid plays baseball with Justin Hunters kids Braylon and Justin Jr. Asked him about Bell, he just shook his head and told me "I wouldn't draft him".

He almost scored 100 more points than bell last season

I drafted Bell. I knew it was a gamble and chose to roll the dice. He is not going to give up too many paychecks.
