The brewers still have a rotation of chacin, Anderson, Davies etc?
Cubs pitching led league in ERA+ and you get a full season of hamels and the lagniappe of whatever darvish lends. Few extra bullpen pieces. The offense hinges on Bryant, his bounce back corrects a lot of issues. If Contreras and Happ are good that would help as well
I do think the cardinals may be the best team in the division as well. I still think the cubs will be better than Milwaukee though

how have the Brewers passed the cubs by?

Yeah, Brewers definitely have rotation question marks. I really figured they'd sign Keuchel. I guess they still could, but you don't hear them mentioned much for FA arms. I think their next tier rotation pieces below will have to step up this year.

Say goodbye to the disabled list.
Major League Baseball is renaming its designation for hurt players the "Injured List" and getting rid of the DL, a fixture in the game since 1966, a source familiar with the plan tells ESPN.

Doubled edges sword there. He has a better ballpark but may be rushed now with that organization.

I don’t mind those guys, but there will be ups and downs there. A lot would have to go right again for that staff to all come together
Same kinda goes for the Cards staff
All those lineups play similarly, I think the best pitching wins that division

Reds improved their team tremendously without having to move any of their top four prospects. A lot of those improvements are more than likely one year rentals though.

How confident are you
Reds are 75/1 to win the series
Brewers are 12/1
I’ll bet you $100 @ +300 reds finish w better record

Reds still have a ton of holes. Up the middle at CF, SS, & C, unless they let dilson play SS
Their rotation is better but it’s still prob bottom 5 in mlb
That team is still really bad

I’ll take peraza and gennett all day everyday over arcia and whoever the brewers 2B is
Senzel is gonna play CF w a MLB ready hit tool. Barnhart is serviceable at C
You got boppers w Puig, Schebler, Kemp. Really like Winker’s hit
Suarez mashes, Votto rebounds, that staff does enough. Only question is the bridge to inglesias for me
