The vote to lower the IP threshold to 100 has failed to pass.

Next topic to discuss is switching to a FAAB format for free agency/waiver wire pickups. Does everyone understand how that format works?
Posted on 9/25/17 at 2:11 pm to reddman
is this just for players on waivers?

my understsanding is FAAB would be for guys dropped. instead of a waiver order you'd bid on them. It wouldnt have to be weekly

Definitely need an answer to this question. If all free agents are subject to FAAB then a discussion is needed on how/when the player pool will lock each day. Personally not a fan of having the player pool be locked at all other than the guys on waivers though.

And at some point in each new season everyone's FAAB budget will have to be reset. That needs to be ironed out too.

All of the questions asked are up for debate/conversation. I cant remember who asked to put this on the voting list. May have been Giraffe.

This is definitely a possibility with our website. However, if i remember correctly, giraffe wanted it for ALL players picked up in order to prevent streaming.

yea i think he wanted weekly waivers which i doubt would pass

Alrighty.
On to the next topic of discussion...

The fourth rule change discussion involves moving from our current 6x6 format and going to a 5x5 format. Under this scenario, IP would be eliminated as a category, and OBP and SLG would be combined to create an OPS category.
Any discussion needed on this, or do I go ahead and begin the poll?
ETA: Sorry, this is not the final rule change to discuss. There is one more to vote on after this.

Can we discuss replacing IP with another pitching category before switching to 5x5? I'm ok with losing IP and replacing it. Don't like combining OBP and SLG in order to get rid of IP though.
