Next up on the voting dockett is adding in a separate IP limit for minor league eligibility for RP. At the current 150IP limit a RP could play 2+ full seasons before losing minor league eligibility. Seeing as the limits we have now represent roughly 75% of a full season(150IP and 400 AB) I suggest the IP threshold be 75% of 75IP or ~55 IP for a reliever(no games started). The proposal is:
A player is eligible to be rostered as a minor leaguer until he reaches 400 AB or 150 IP for a starter and 55 IP for a RP(no GS). A pitcher can regain minor league eligibility if they start a game after 55 IP.

Is that an option on the site or does it have to be self policed?

And will owners that currently have RPs on their MILB roster with over 55 IP have to adjust their roster immediately if this goes through? Haven't looked to see if anyone does or not.
