Oh I completely agree.

Just to be clear when I said lottery I meant a lotto between say the bottom 4 (or 5 in 14 team) teams, not that every team would have an equal shot at those top picks.

After the lottery teams then it would go in traditional order from worst to first getting last pick in the first round.


And it’s not snake btw, it’s a 1-12 then back to 1-12 imo, just like the NFL Draft.


You mentioned potential points, I haven’t done that before but would be open to it as well if Sleeper accommodates

Oh I completely agree here as well.

I’m talking strictly benching players in an attempt to lose games down the stretch to get a higher pick, not selling assets to gain draft picks or prospects that leads to losses.


Your potential points option would solve that as well

I like a snake draft for the first year and then the following years like u mentioned. It gives the teams with bad records more early picks and the good teams later picks in each round starting year 2.

Draft should definitely be snake
