I'm picking 5th. I would get the 8th pick. He would get my second and fourth round picks. 10 team snake draft no keepers.

That's what I was thinking. He trying to talk me into it.

yeah an extra first round pick is always tempting
but you'd lose too much giving away those two picks IMO

I say do it, but I would ask for a another pick in return. Maybe a 5th, or 6th rounder. In a ten team league, you will still be able to get great talent in the 6th or 7th round.
At 5, you are guaranteed one of the top four backs or Andre Johnson. If you select AJ at 5, at eight you will be able to get Gore, S. Jax, or Turner. If you take the back that falls, you could select another back, but I would take my second best receiver, which is Moss.
Then in the third round, draft your best receiver left available.
This would apply only if qbs tend to not go too high in your draft. In my league, 5 qbs will go in the first two rounds due to our scoring (1 point per yrd, 6 per tds).
The second round this year is full of players that are all rated around the same, and most people will end up reaching unless someone really good falls.
