Creative ways to set draft order?

What are some creative ways your leagues have used to set the draft order?
I don't want to just draw names.
I've seen where some of the following have been used, but want to hear a few more.
1. Dog race- assign numbers to each owner, how their dog finishes determines the order.
2. Combine- 40 yard dash, bench, shuttle, vertical
3.Punt, Pass, Kick competition
4. Wonderlic Test
5. Golf match... (not everyone in my league plays golf, and some that do are very good.)
Thanks in advance.

Get 12 beers (or however many people are in your draft) tape a number 1-12 on the bottom of each beer. Place beers in the frig, when everyone gets there they pick a beer, you drink it, then look at the bottom for your draft position

Our league commissioner drew 24 of the 32 NFL teams out of a hat, 2 for each league member.
The combined scores for each league member's 2 teams during preseason week 1 will determine the draft order.

Go with the results from last season, starting with worst
(or first)...they pick their spot. Second to last goes next, etc.
Not very sexy though.

We did this last year. It was ok. I think we will attempt Beerio Kart this year.

I assume it is a Saints fan heavy league. Have everyone pick the passing yards and TDs of Brees in a preseason game, closest without gong over gets first pick and so on.

We have done the following.
Let everyone pick one player for the first 3 preseason weeks.
Then add up their would be fantasy score.
I picked Jimmy Garopollo one year and placed first.
Also have done NFL pickem for first 3 week of preseason.
Have done wonderlic test as well.
This year doing a Rock Paper Scissors tournament through iMessage.

Last year we picked walkers in some ridiculous speed walking event in the olympics. My walker shite his pants and passed out twice and still wound up with like the 4th pick

We're doing a beer pong tournament Friday night. Winner picks what spot he wants, second picks his spot after, and so on.

Put everyone's team name in a hat.
As the name is pulled out of the hat, they can choose what spot they want to draft depending on what is still open.
A lot of people prefer to draft middle rather than early. This method gives people a chance to pick their spot, of course the later it gets the less choices you have.
The good part about this is it different and can be done right before the draft starts.

I had my dogs chase tennis balls one year with names on them and bring them back to me.

We do events throughout the year to determine where we pick in the draft..
Our events this year were
March Madness Bracket
Putt Putt Competition
Masters Golf Tourney (each player picks a golfer in order of how they finished the previous year in fantasy)
Each event is weighted 1-10 and the highest overall score gets to pick their draft position. It's too late to it this year but may give you ideas for next year. Makes it fun to do things throughout the year.
Last year was:
March madness
$10 dollar limit at Main event to see how had most tickets at the end
Punt pass Kick
Wonderlic
The OPEN golf championship

Dick measuring contest, longest picks first. Or a good old fashion circle jerk, last to blow gets first pick

I prefer those random order websites. But I have participated in one where a pre-draft drinking contest determined the draft order. It gets interesting in years liek this where draft position is important. 1-3 would likley be hammered.
