Depending on league size, it may not be that bad with 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, Flex, Flex

Here's an excel sheet of my 14 team league without rookies (draft is in over a month).

LINK

In PPR, there are enough RBs to make it work

Also, there's a really solid app called Wazey. You can join with your phone (no one in the group can see it) and create a username

You can create channels to talk in like:

1. Slow draft channel
2. Trade discussion channel

Etc.

Obviously the majority of discussion will be on here, but it's good for alerts and notifications

K and Def are fluky enough, no place in Dynasty IMO

More room for rookies develop on your roster too

1. My suggestion on cutting players

Each offseason there will be a date assigned by the commish to cut players. You're not required to cut anyone, but to gain rights to your draft picks, you must cut players.

If you want your first round pick, you must drop a player. If you trade away a draft pick, you must drop at least 1 player. That way we aren't forcing players to drop rookies/depth.

Can do up to a 5 round draft

Yes there will need to be a cut down period prior to a rookie draft

As for K and DEF, I don't like em but I'm not going to make that call. We can vote

I'd say 14 teams. No K. No D.

I'm fine without them. K and def are pretty sketchy. Seems like there is little or no opposition to that.

I'm kind of unsure about 16 teams. I have never played in a league near that size. But I don't have a strong enough opinion about it to really object. Seems like it might really be stretching deep, especially in a league where you want to keep players on your bench to invest for the future. How big would the rosters be in this case? I'll end up deferring to those who have more experience with dynasty leagues.

14 is a good number. We could stick there and have a entry fee of 125 to add another 350 to the pot if we want more juice

I'd rather stick w 14 instead of just adding 2 to add 2

Yeah, I was just thinking about some of the math of how it works out if we were to have 25 man rosters like said in the OP and 16 teams. That would literally be about 1/4 of all active players in the NFL. Consider that you don't start offensive lineman and I don't think that this will be an IDP league then you are rostering close to every single eligible player, and you are getting into 3rd and 4th string players just to fill out rosters. I guess obviously, you couldn't have that large of rosters.

We could pay the 1st 2 yrs up front to make sure owners don't drop out.

We could relegate the two bottom finishers. Throw their teams together, let two new owners draft 2 new teams
