I'm 5th in a 12 man ppr league. We know the top 3 picks and I'm in a league full of lsu and saints fans so I'm sure Julio will be there for me at 5 which I'm fine with. But Mike Evans is looks like he is picking up right where he left off last year. Starting to lean Evans the more I think about it. Am I overthinking?

You're over thinking it. Julio.

Yes. I'm in same situation and I would go Julio, Shady, or Evans in that order.

In PPR I would seriously consider McCoy. He may end up being their leading receiver as well.

I prefer a safer pick in the top 5. If Julio and Evans are healthy then they are shoe ins for 80+ catches, 1000 yards, and a floor of 5-6 touchdowns. And for some reason I just feel like shady is due for injury with a 2nd year of heavy usage. Strictly gut feeling.

One of the best things about fantasy football IMO is that everyone has different philosophies and there are so many ways that you can be successful. It really makes it fun to talk about as long as people can keep the "you're an idiot" comments out of it.

Julio has had chronic foot problems and coming off surgery. Meanwhile Evans is going off in preseason. I know it's preseason but it's better than looking terrible or not being able to play. I know I'm splitting hairs, I think Julio will finish as a top 5 wr. But I think Evans will be right there with him while being younger and no injury history. I'm leaning Evans

Both play in the NFC South, which means 6 games against below average secondaries. Both will be the primary target in their passing game. Both are playmakers who just have "it."

The decision between the two will come from how much weight do you put on the fact that Julio has a better QB and/or the fact that the Falcons have a lot of other mouths to feed, whereas the Bucs don't.

I got Evans as 3rd wr overall behind AB and OBJ. I just see Evans crushing it this year.

I think you could probably throw Jones, Evans, Beckham and Nelson in a hat and just pick one.

Evans isn't very efficient though. He relies on volume. Still too many drops. He'll get there but he isn't better than Julio
