How were the predictions so spot on
Movies, TV, literature have foretold this crap for ages. They have laid out these exact scenaruos and results. It has even been witnessed over and over again in the recent and not so recent history. Yet its the educated as well as the uneducated that are blind and willing to go along with our demise. Is it just human nature? Humans so badly want to be told what to do that it overrules their desire to be free?

the problem is technology keeps stupid asses alive. not only that, but the stupid people reproduce at much higher rates. so after a few generations, the stupid people outnumber everyone else.

the powerful control the masses easily because of this. the reason democrats want open borders? more people to breed for their cause

Technology's made people lazy. Chronically lazy. So much so they don't even think for themselves. Which is where a predatory MSM and the like swoop in and fill the void. The rest is history.

Yes. Just like Arnold said in Terminator 2- “ it’s in your nature to destroy yourselves.” And truthfully, most people do like to be told what to do. They want security, not freedom. And that is what the Democrats are selling, security. They are offering to “take care of you”, pay off your student loans, higher wages, etc... But, when that happens, they own you. They will start dictating the events of your life. In socialism, they will give you just enough where you aren’t starving, not prospering, but not starving. That will be enough for some people.

This. They have been playing the long game, and now they’re going in for the kill.

They weren’t foretelling anything, they were just copying the blueprint of authoritarian societies I.E. 1984. Orwell didn’t have to be a fortune teller to look at what happened in Italy and Germany in 1936 and write a book about it (with a futuristic skin) years later.

Intentional disinformation and lack of education, media manipulation and state sponsored media, useful idiot “progressives”, etc. have been happening since the year 1,300. The dumb, uneducated present day leftists who think they’re helping are just another iteration of Nazi Brownshirts.

This is nothing new, it’s just sad that the constitution has been altered to the point that this could happen when our founders were specifically seeking to avoid it
