Dumped voting machine found outside of Savannah; state confirms it’s outdated
This is quite a strange occurrence.

A dumped Fulton County voting machine is found in a field in Savannah Georgia. Even if the machine is "outdated" surely this is a huge problem that warrants a serious investigation and not some off-handed remark about it being "Outdated".

LINK

Edit: I have to clarify that this was not a "Dominion" voting machine, but a "Diebold" one. I was mistakenly told it was dominion, but after looking at the pictures, it's labeled Diebold.

If I was going to dump a voting machine I to would choose a brush behind a truck stop.

I mean......it certainly doesn't look like a piece of tech that’s been sitting in a field for 4+ years. Looks pretty fricking currently dated to me

Yeah, that's the one that in-person voters used.

I said a serious investigation, not fingerprinting of a device that's been outside for god knows how many days. I withhold judgement should they actually follow up on this and it's not swept away into a memory hole. However, I have a feeling that this is the last time we will ever see any mention of this device.

What part of

“There is no way it could have impacted the 2020 election because it does not print ballots, and this state has switched entirely to voting on paper ballots.”

do you disagree with?

The Secretary of State’s Office is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery. Leffler says the FBI was even brought in to check it for fingerprints.

So there will be no unbiased oversight at least.

That is one of the older machines. I don't know if every machine was changed out, but I think I last voted on it in 2018.

I understand there’s potential pending legislation about a lawsuit or something so that’s why they were holding them and not destroying them,” said Leffler. “Normally they would have been taken to an industrial shredder and they would have actually been destroyed.”

All the equipment when it left here was completely stripped of any kind of information,” said Leffler, “

so it had pending litigation but all info was removed?

hmmmm
