Alternatives to YouTube TV

I just ordered a Roku TV earlier this week, and I currently subscribe to Youtube TV. It looks like I won't be able to download the Youtube TV app onto the new TV, I think. I don't really want to buy a Fire Stick to plug into the back of my Roku TV.
When Youtube TV jacked up the price to 65 bucks recently, I have thought about switching to a different service.
I have looked at both Hulu + Live TV and Fubo TV. Both run about the same 65 bucks, so I haven't pulled the trigger to switch, but would consider it, now, as I like Youtube TV, but would switch for a better service if I found one.
Let's discuss the Youtube TV alternatives and the relative strengths and weaknesses. What do you use, and why? Consider:
Number of streams at one time - what are the limits?
User Interface - how easy is it to use?
Channels - any channels missing?
DVR - any issues? How easy is it to use?
Buffering - any problems with lags?

I’ve tried fubo, YouTube, Hulu, and att tv on roku, fire, google tv, and Apple TV.
Fubo on Apple TV is my GOAT, but it runs great on the others too.

Just the turner channels, tnn, tnt, tru tv, Cartoon Network, cnn
DVR - any issues? How easy is it to use?
None so far, simple enough. You can even dvr by sports team.
Buffering - any problems with lags?
Used to be every now and then, not any more than I’ve had with other services. It’s been super stable for the past couple months.

Apple TV is the best device for streaming and I just signed up for Fubo tv and I love it!

I bought a chromecast with google TV at Bestbuy for $50 and this is a sweet streamer. Love the way it integrates content from the different apps too. Google TV is integrated and t’s very cable like.

Seems like just yesterday Youtube TV was advertising on ROKU.
I recommend everyone check COX special offers for their area, we added the mid tier cable with HBO max, Starz and Showtime for only $29 more than it was for gigablast internet alone. They had just rolled out the gigablast to our area so they were running a special, I switched form ATT where we were maxing out at 40mbps...

I ended up going back to Spectrum. At least for a year. It is $96/month after tax for both internet and cable. They didn't make me rent a box. I use Samsung Tv, Apple TV, and Chromecast for viewing. I get every channel from Bally Sports (Cavs, Blue Jackets, Cleveland Indians, Cincy Reds) and all channels for the wife as well. I have 400mbps speeds with no cap).
I do have local competition in my area for traditional cable, so when the offer ends I plan to re-evaluate if any streaming services has the ability to show any of my local sports and also compare offers on the other company.

I currently have YTTV and I have enjoyed it since I have had it but I’m just wondering how long Roku is going to keep YTTV for existing customers. Strongly looking at FuboTV and might start the 7 day trial to check it out.

I am currently on a 7 day trial with both Hulu and Fubo. One thing t00f mentioned is that Google TV manages content from different sources. That seems to be a Youtube TV thing. I can pull up Tigers baseball games and NBA games (I have the NBA channel) directly from the Youtube app. I don't seem to be able to do that from Hulu or Fubo. Kind of disappointed in that.

I ordered my TV on April 29th and it was originally supposed to be delivered between May 6th and May 11th, then it was revised to May 4th. It is being delivered by UPS. I tracked it, and it originated in Nashville, which is about a 4 hour drive from me. I noticed that it arrived in Indianapolis yesterday, May 1st, but the delivery date is still May 4th. Are they going to sit on that sucker just because they don't want to deliver it to me sooner than the 4 day window that ground delivery promises?

Random but I’ve noticed that fubotv integrates with the appleTV tv app too. So on an iPad when you “flick it up” to swap apps, it minimizes but keeps playing. So the fubotv app allows more multitasking on an iPad or iPhone. Whereas the youtubetv app would just minimize and close.
Also, another feature seems to allow fubotv to use spatial audio. So for any of you with AirPod pros or AirPod Max’s a regular espn stream through fubotv can do spatial audio (non AppleTV devices).

I've been flirting with cutting the cord for about a year but just couldn't pull the trigger.
I have researched like hell and started my 7 day trial with Fubo yesterday. The biggest adjustment I am having is no "last channel" button or being able to type in a channel number to go straight to a channel. Other than that I like it, and will save a good bit of change from DirecTV.
Honestly my biggest hurdle is going to be teaching the wife to navigate the controls.

Fubotv plays nice with the appleTV if ya have that. You can swipe left or right and go back and forth between channels kinda like old school channel surfing

I use FUBO. Like it very much as it has the sports I want to watch (Astros and SEC whatever). Has a few network programs that I like (Discover, Nat Geo, etc).
When I cut the cord next year, it will be my goto.

Apple TV’s remote is god awful.
