It must be a really tricky task for Real Madrid at Anfield,' Klopp said. 'This was strange tonight because it was really difficult with the stadium (at Madrid's training ground) but Anfield is at least a proper stadium and it will be good for us.'

The situation with Sadio, I'm not sure what the ref did tonight,' a livid Klopp said. 'It seemed like it was sort of personal. 'I told him after the game, I just thought he was unfair with Sadio. He didn't lose us the game but you need just an OK ref.'

Couldn’t care less about the pitch. That’s a shite excuse.

If you watched the match, Sadio got fricking assaulted all night and didn’t get shite.

It isn’t often that I am not frustrated with a losing result for Liverpool, but holy shite if I didn’t just feel like it wasn’t worth being upset at because of how egregious that was.

If you think he’s been ranting wait and see if they lose or tie this match based on that decision. I genuinely dislike officials in almost every sport so I love it when coaches, players and managers give it to them. That is a shocking decision on that offside, of course I now have no clue what offsides is anymore.
