MT is about to become a slightly above average WR if he leaves. Remember Jimmy Graham and his attitude? Had Graham stayed he would have been mentioned top 5 TE of all time

MT is still an elite WR. There's plenty of good qb's in the league that MT can thrive under. He's an asset still, an asset that could be flipped if the saints so choose. Or he'll continue to be our new qb's best friend and have a healthier season next yr.

He can still thrive here

I get trying to flip him.
You have to look at all options.

His value is as high now as it will ever be. With so many unknowns going into next season, it makes sense to deal him to maximize your return.

MT put up some great numbers with Bridgewater. His contested catch rate has been unreal and he runs perfect routes.

He’ll be a great player with any decent QB.

He had a significant injury the following year. I think Graham regrets it, but him and Thomas are not similar. Thomas is a warrior who doesn’t alligator arm anything

Understatement of the year. He put up most catches ever with Bridgewater being the QB for 5.75 games (and don't remember if MT13 even played the last week of the season).
