Trump signs stimulus:

1st round: we were in uncharted territory and economists, pretty much across the board called for it especially with interest rates at practically zero.

2nd round: Congress passed the omnibus and Covid package together and was a damn shame that Trump signed off

Biden stimulus plan

Will release a stimulus plan when the vaccine is being distributed and a growing portion of the US will have had Covid, rendering the stimulus unneeded if Dem governors and mayors open up their states/cities.

In 1980 Zimbabwe's "dollar" was worth $1 US Dollar. By the 1990's $100 TRILLION Zimbabwe dollars = $300 US Dollars or $1 Trillion = $3 USD, $333 BILLION Zimbabwe Dollars = $1USD

When you print money like it grows on trees it will take wheel barrows of money to but a loaf of bread.

This stuff is so stupid. I can't believe they're going to send out more stimulus checks. I guess we're going to figure out just how much debt our country can actually have before going under.

What really gets me is the give $600 stimulus checks..... Wait for it.... Then give themselves $57,000 a year raises in Congress.... Explain that

I've no issue with giving citizens money.. since government forcibly caused a lot of this economic decline.

My issue is, most of the that covid19 package will probably go towards political pet projects and to foreign countries. Take away the excess bloat and just give the stimulus payments..and the package will be less than $1T.

This is where Republicans need to stake their claim. Instead of fighting what amounts to a tax cut for the entire middle class, push for it to be even bigger and point out that if we cut the other bloat there is plenty of room to do it for the same price.

Same reason they implement lockdowns and then go with a dozen friends to French Laundry restaurants or take luxury vacations to Cabo. Rules for thee and rules for me.
