Just heard of this course from a customer. Anyone play it recently?

Very fun course with some elevation changes you don't normally see in South Louisiana. It is in better shape every time I've gone since reopening last year.

I believe their club championship is the weekend, so you may want to call before driving out there.

We played it all the time in our local high school league. It used to be Springview Country Club. All the greens on the front nine were turtle back and the back nine had some crazy elevation changes. Need to make time to get back up there. I always enjoyed playing it.

That place is fun. Nice elevation changes.

Played it last week. Cool layout. Back nine is challenging with some tight fairways, elevation change and if you get a downhill putt you’re going to have some problems.

You can tell the front 9 was the original layout because the greens are way too small and turtle back.

Yea I’m a member there.
Course has been on the up and up since reopening last year.
Such a cool layout and fun course.
Not very long but your short game better be on. Need to come check it out.

Played it in the summer. Short course but the greens on front make it difficult if you short side yourself. Back nine has nice elevation changes and greens can be tricky with the slope on them. If it wasn’t over an hour drive for me I’d play it way more. I generally play Beaver Creek but Cam2 was a pleasant surprise.

This, those small elevated greens on the front can be very frustrating.

Course keeps getting better everytime I go. I love the layout and especially love the back nine. It is a very fun course.

Looking on the website and every tee time is available for tomorrow. That can't be right... I don't want to book something online and show up and it be packed and no room for us. Anyone have any insight?

It won't be packed. Played there back on a Sunday in September and it was great. Very few people, and never saw anyone on the back nine. Front nine is OK, but back nine is gorgeous. Really need to get back there if it's true that the greens are fast. That was my only complaint (greens were really slow when we played).

I’d call the clubhouse morning of but generally they’re not busy enough where you’ll be jammed up on the course

Rained good bit last 2 days In Amite. Course prob gonna play little wet. Even though it drains better than any course in the state probably with all the hills.
But yea. Course won’t be packed for sure.
