Garlic and Parmesan incrusted turnips

Tried a new turnip recipe tonight and it was pretty good. Boiled some turnips flattened them out and brushed with garlic, olive oil, salt and black pepper. Added a little Parmesan cheese and baked in the oven for about 30 minutes. I think I boiled them a little too long and they feel apart a little.

Looks tasty. Needed a side bowl of greens to be perfect. I will try this soon.

Oh they were there also. Just did not get a finished photo. Along with some cornbread.

That looks tasty and basically duplicates the way we make smashed potatoes.
