Best way to buy and enjoy a Nintendo Switch?

I absolutely love Mario Kart (like most people) and I actually like the newest gen on the switch...
What I absolutely HATE is playing with those tiny fricking controllers that I feel like I’m going to break.
I realize that the Switch comes in a box, with two bullshitrollers, and maybe a game bundled.
I’ve seen the “cradle-like controller thingys” where you insert the bullshitrollers into and it’s like a normal controller.
At the end of the day, what $$$ am I looking at to have 4x “cradle-like controllers”, a Switch, and I’m assuming a charging station for the controllers? How do they even charge? Do they make, what I can only assume would be a charging station for 8x bullshitrollers? If I wanted 4ppl to be able to play?
Is $415 for Switch + Mario Kart bundle a decent deal? Where would be the best place to get more controllers? Would it be a huge pain in the dick to keep track of all 8 little guys and keep them paired?
Any suggestions on how to make this easier?
TIA.

Just get a pro controller, its nearly identical to the Xbox controller. Agreed on the tiny BS controller but I can still deal out terror on my kids playing Mario Kart using it.
$20 Pro Controller at GameStop

+1 to the controller
And the controller gamepad is fine too. Get one with the charger.

$415 is not a decent deal. Switch is $300 MSRP. No way Mario Kart is $100+. I’d find a better deal or a non-bundle.
The Switch comes with one set of Joy-Cons. You can buy 3 more official sets at $80 each. There’s a few different brands of Joy-Con chargers...most I’ve seen is one that charges 2 sets of Joy-Cons. You can find them anywhere online for $15-$25. Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Assuming you find a Switch for $300, that’l bring your total to $500-ish before tax.
They do have AA-battery packs for the Joy-Cons. Insten or some brand like that. It’s $25 or so. Better off getting a charger. The official Switch Pro Controller is $70. So, you can buy 3 of those instead of 3 Jiy-Cons and save $30. Pro is way better anyway. I hate the Joy-Cons. Too small.
To save the most money, I’d recommend buying 3 off-brand Joy-Con controllers. There’s one that’s pretty decent for $40 each on Amazon. JALVDE brand, IIRC. Save $120 that way. Or maybe 2 knock-off Joy-Cons and a Pro Controller if you hate the Joy-Cons. Then you’d have one set of official Joy-Cons, two decent knock-offs and keep the Pro controller for yourself

If you need 4 controllers -
1 set with the box, 1 Set of extra joycons, 1-2 of these: LINK and 1 Pro controller
There's also the 8bitdo controller which is also nice. If you get that and 2 grips, everyone can have a "controller" and you didn't spend much. That's what i did.

Walked into GameStop and bought one for my wife for Christmas. The Animal Crossing Edition. Bought Mario Kart and Crash Bandicoot.
Switch $299
Mario Kart $59
Crash Bandicoot $35
Screen Protector $15
GameStop Pro $15
7.5% tax
$475ish
