re: Chest congestion that won't quit

Sounds like what went on with me a few years back and it wound up being chronic bronchitis. I'd get into some coughing spells from time to time and if they were pretty consistent, I'd get abdominal pains from all the tightening of muscles when coughing.

My Dr. at the time recommended a breathing test done by a respiratory therapist that came back as onset COPD, which was totally bogus once I went to see a Pulmonologist and had another test done.

I forget what meds I was prescribed, but it did clear up and no issues with it again.
