What’s the most economical, feasible way to rent an RV that sleeps as few as 6 occupants for 10 days to travel from Slidell area to Michigan in July? TIA

Yeah I had researched it a while back and after the rental fee, gas, and sometimes a mileage add on, it adds up in a hurry

you'd save money by just booking hotels along the way

CruiseAmerica.com Their largest is 30 ft. Sleeps 7. Understand that all RV's sleep whatever but sleep only 2 comfortably.

Not sure on where to rent. Understand this though...

It may seem all cool and fun to take a long trip with a group in an RV. However, understand this - someone is going to have to be the captain of the ship so to speak.

My buddies all wanted to load up and do this in the RV that i have access to, but i shut it down with the quickness. I wasn't about to do all the work while those guys just rode in the back and drank all day.

Also, before you take that long of a trip in an RV make sure you are very familiar with the systems on the unit, as well as have the capability to make minor repairs on the fly.

RV Shop does rentals. We took one to Dallas for the LSU game a few years ago.
