Wood stove pipe installation through insulated garage wall...

Anybody done this? Could use advice so I don’t burn my house down. Any contractors that install these pipes?

Where it enters the wall/ceiling you MUST use the insulated vent pipe. It comes in sections, like 3 and 6 foot lengths, and not cheap.

They come in 1' sections too! Those pipes are SS and have three pipes inside each other now. OP, you will also need a fire stop plate to were you go thru the wall. Better find someone to come out and tell you what you need to do.

When I installed a wood burner stove, it cost me over $500 just for the piping.
