Giant Beastcast Fans - I has question for you peoples..

She's actually improved over the last year, has been able to articulate an opinion without consantly repeating "it's good, I'm enjoying it, it's satisfying". She still has those moments but she's kind of a work in progress. She's young, impressionable, very opinionated, and leans pretty left (had to quit following her on twitter), so she's always going to rub people the wrong way.

Her first year was pretty rough, especially her first GOTY. The one thing she needs to learn is "know your role", and I'm not going with "she's a woman, so keep quiet", but Gardoki and I were talking about this a while back; we really miss Drew and how he handled himself. Both Drew and Abby are producers, and when you're at a table with industry vets like Jeff, Brad, Vinny, Alex, and Dan, there's not much more you're going to add to a discussion, so know your spots and chime in then, which Drew excelled at. Abby.....her first year, being around these giants, and being the only girl, I think she felt pressure to "fit in", so she went out of her way to be as vocal as possible and even visibly annoyed some of the other guys from time to time. She argued for Dream Daddy to be a top 10 game, and she kept saying that it redefined the visual novel genre. Dan kept asking her how so and she could never answer, just kept repeating herself, and she even admitted that Dream Daddy was her first VN game. I could have given this a pass if Horizon hadn't been brushed off the list so fast.

She still had a few moments this past GOTY, going on some rant about the witch in God of War and how she was such a female trope (her favorite new word), and NO ONE, even papa Vinny ,who usually will defend her, really understood what she was going for. But GOTY kind of brings out the worst in those guys.......Brad wanting to bump God of War off of Best Looking because some settings in the menu wasn't to his liking.

Abby has her moments, and when she gets going and is really loud, it's a bit much. But I really liked her 13 Deadly Sims series and her VR stuff with Vinny is always really good.

Sic I like her. She has some great moments and like how she supports my Mario Party.
