Like everyone here, I am hoping O can break this cycle of Saban using recruits to toy with us.
Like everyone, I hope I am so wrong,
but as you say, this is following a very similar pattern, and we are falling for it again.
The only true way to break this cycle is for O to never over invest in a recruit and offer enough so that those that really want in, will sign in December. Holding spots for recruits that are choosing between us and Bama seems beyond ignorant at this point.... it's sooooo setting yourself up for failure.

Of course I’d take ish and I’ll root for him 100% if he’s in, but the whole “offer my brother” bull shite.. and then we did offer and he still didn’t commit. That’s where it took a turn for the worse

It’s not like we didn’t go after other DL to save a spot for ish. We went after a bunch: Moore, Young, Pickering, we just didn’t get them. This isn’t like surtain situation at all

Yes very simple. It is a play on words and situations for click bait. Him not announcing today HAS NOTHING TO DO what Soph does. Smart money is Ish to Bama as everyone who follows this should know. However, I would not be surprised one bit if it is LSU...not at all:). I am logging off I have too much work to do LOL!!

They never said "signing" today, right? I thought I heard he'd announce a commitment....
Either way, the bad guys seem to find a way to manipulate this kind of crap, every year.
I'd love to see it backfire on them. Maybe one day the powers that be will see fit to take a deeper look at their magic.

I guess my position is that if you have a need, get it filled. Holding out for a player to fill a need puts you in a bad spot if they don't sign.
Once your need is filled, holding out for better ones doesn't hurt you if you don't close. Bama is really good at doing this.
