6 Small gesture
LSU sent all NFL players a gift box of LSU swag and wishing them well this season. He also invited multiple stand out NFL players to hang around the program this summer boosting recruitment. The man has a damn good plan
LSU recruits itself, but having a great leader push it to the next level helps.

Not down playing that at all, but it just seems different since a lot of media and Notre Dame fans were saying Kelly doesn’t recruit. You should always recruit active members as much as future members, if not more. Especially during a change of command.

I can buy that Les was a selfish cockblocker his last few seasons. Makes sense.

There was a lot of bad blood b/c of early guys he coached who were more loyal to Saban than he was, and were public about it.
