O is taking 1 years off. I’d like to see our new coach established at LSU, then maybe bring O back to recruit. Rather have him recruiting for LSU than another SEC team.

Maybe, but we can't forget that O is 60. By the time the dust settles and he is in serious consideration for jobs (when firing season starts next October/November), he will be 61 and 62 before he coaches his first game for you. That's not ancient, but might give someone pause - best case, you get 5, 7 years?

No, Miami will have zero interest in a 60 year old coach with moderate success (outside of one season) that comes with a history of problems at every school he’s been at….starting with Miami several decades ago.
