I feel like it's going to be Jimbo or Kiffin

Please no to either of these clowns!

Or Lincoln, I bet it's one of those three

That's enough, Lawrence

Hope not
Fisher is a decent coach, certainly not worth $10m+ a year tho. Id be very surprised if he ever wins another title with his offense, here or anywhere.
That said, we’ll do well under Jimbo because he recruits well and knows how to run a program, so I wouldn’t melt if he’s the hire, I just think we all want someone a little younger and with a tad more potential upside and fire in his belly to reach the top of the mountain.
Jimbo feels like we’d be getting a coach on the back-end of his career…I’d prefer a coach that’s just beginning to start his “championship Hunt” period of his career.
Jimbo won’t be winning any titles with that offense. And I seriously doubt he ever gives it up or changes

Has it really been that long since Jimbo leveraged a little bit of success into a raise or contract extension. I thought he did it after last season. Well, he did beat Bama Saturday so he needs to strike while the iron is hot.

They just renegotiated before the season (most likely due to the likelihood of the LSU job coming open)
10 years, $95 million guaranteed
He is the second highest paid coach in football
*actually this particular year 2021 he is the highest paid coach in CFB

LSUAD is not gonna pay Jimbo $10 million a year for 10 years which is what it would take to get him away from Aggies.

Going 9-1 with an Orange Bowl win and a #4 final ranking probably had more to do with it.

That was certainly part of it, but I guarantee the Woodward/LSU/Orgeron situation played into the timing
They ain’t stupid

I know he just beat bama. But he also lost to 2 teams he should have beaten. We’ve been there before with miles. Let’s not pay a retread $10m for the same shite we’ve seen.
As a 49 year old diehard who’s sat through the bad and the good, my opinion is this.
1) urban - screw the PR shite. He can win championships soon.
2) Riley - proven at a big school. Offensive show. Hire a good dc and let’s roll
3) fickel - young energetic. Sort of unproven so a big risk
4) cambell - see above
5) aranda - above
6) Napier if those all fail
7) jimbo I guess
