How much ridicule are we going to subject service members with this uniform:

The tops don't look bad, but those pants look hideous in that combination.

Well we are about as close to warp drive, matter-anti matter reactors and teleporters as we are to those green jobs Joe has promised. Just don't ever get stuck wearing a red shirt unless you are the chief engineer. All the people left behind in Afghanistan must have worn red shirts.

If someone walked up to me wearing that, I'd give them my luggage and a tip.

Fits in with the running joke about Star Trek The Next Generation taking place on a cruise ship.

Funniest conversation I ever heard between an active Marine and a Marine Vet. Son in Law in command of the Silent Drill Team visiting Sarasota, Fl.

Marine Corps Officers have that "V" shaped physic about them. Marine Vet approaches and says "I was in the Marines in Viet Nam." Son in Law teases back, looking at the older pot bellied vet ....."Absolutely a long time ago, sir."

In some branches you can find that look with members still on active duty.
