Only upvotes, yet this is the same board that condemns UL for taking the Louisiana moniker over ULM

Boom Shakalaka.

That’s kinda odd, ain’t it.

ULM football was a lot more fun when it was a 1-AA power but they get somewhere close to a $1,000,000 a game to go on the road for an SEC beatdown. They're not going back.

I was at this game. ULM's defense looked okay, (granted it was Jackson St), but the Rich Rod offense looked really bad. Deion's son for JS has no arm but he's f
fast.

You know it, Jeff’s Dad. Hide Jeff because ULM is on the hunt.

I would say that ULM has a richer football history than UL-L.

ULM had a 1AA National Championship
Put plenty of good players in the NFL
Has beaten Kentucky, Alabama, Miss State, Arkansas, etc.

UL-L’s marketing machine make you think there is more there than there really is.

ULM had a run of bad administrators that killed all the momentum that was built up prior to D1A. Another negative for ULM, they never recovered for the 4 games against LaTech in the late 90s.

LaTech handled them easily in all but 1 game….that really killed their support.

ULM has some great positives - the bayou that cuts through the campus is stunning - the new OD school is beautiful.
