I have an HVAC vent through the roof that is leaking, who would fix this issue?

I also have two pvc plumbing vents through roof that are leaking, who would fix this issue?

All leaks are minor since storm but do not want them to turn into a major problem.

Is this a call to a roofer, HVAC, or plumber? What if vent needs to be replaced, would one handle or need to call HVAC guy and roofer for replacement of HVAC vent?

Probably just your boots need replacing. Would normally call a roofer but who knows what they would charge right now for that small of a job.

If the the pvc/rubber is deteriorated like this around the pipe

Get a new one the same shape and right size - $10. Use a utility knife to cut off the part on new one that fits flat to the roof. Slide whats left over the pipe on top of the old leaky one. If you do this you don't have to mess with the shingles. I have no hack for the HVAC vent fix. May just need some sealant on the nails head if there is no wind damage.

One of my neighbors said roofers wanted $250 per boot jack before the storm. The prices for roofing are insane. I had to pick up a few skills just to fix the poor job a roofer did and wouldn’t come back to fix.

The jobs are easy. Getting up there and not falling is what’s hard. Really paying them $25 for the job and $225 to send some skinny baw up there to risk his life on foam seats and a prayer.

Who cut the hole?
Always have the plumber / ac guy mark the area and have the roofer cut and seal in the vent hole.

If you want to do the work. Watch a video and get to it.

Other than falling off the roof, the repair quite simple.

I would at least try. It’s like $20 worth of parts and not a lot of risk of the OP isn’t physically restricted from getting on a roof. Roofers are shite on a good day, and right now they’re all chasing hurricane money.
