Not only was the rain hard it had a soft oily quality. I know this sounds odd. When I left Walmart and ran for the car,the water almost beaded up on me and the grocery cart. It reminded me of mixing baby oil and water.

Could be all the generators running in SE LA or the minimal oil spills in the Gulf due to Ida.

Looks like potential for more rain to stack up again in BR this afternoon?

There’s still a potential for heavy rainfall but it will be more isolated in SLA today. Hard to predict which areas get it the worst

I noticed that too on the way hone yesterday, but just thought my rainx wiper fluid was kicking arse. Maybe all the flaring going on still.

So all of the rain is broken off but the low is just sitting off the coast?
