Clapton said he won't play in a venue that requires patrons wear a mask. But now Lotoya has implemented a mandate. So what do you think Clapton will do at this point? I guess he has until the 18th of next month to figure out if he will stick to his guns and cancel the show

I thought his issue was with Vax requirements, not mask?

quote:

Eric Clapton refuses to play venues requiring vaccines for concertgoers

quote:

The country’s two major live music concert promoters — AEG Presents and Live Nation Entertainment — announced COVID-related restrictions regarding their events

I guess Clapton will cave. Really won’t have much of an option. Guess only other option is to not tour at all?

He was very explicit when he said he wouldn't play a show with a mask mandate. This is going to be interesting to watch. My first Clapton show and Latoya has Destroyad it. She could frick up a 1 horse race somehow.

She's costing the city a lot of money.

Looking to pick up some tickets for this show. Any word on if the show will go on post-storm and for the aforementioned mask mandate stuff? I can't find anything online saying it won't happen.

Yeah, I have tickets and can’t find anything that says it’s canceled because of the storm or otherwise. And there is a mask mandate (plus vax or negative test). I am presuming it is still on?

I don't see anything saying it is canceled. I got tickets and will be there.
