Alaska Airlines is a great and I never had any issues. I quit flying Delta when I had 4 out of 6 flights on 2 trips cancelled or delayed because of mechanical issues.

Alaska Airlines is still small enough to be able to run a pretty efficient operation. It's when airlines grow large that ratings go down.
