That it's going to be a long season.
That the OL sucks.
That the LBs are bad.
That the OC is not coordinating.

That Cade York is really really good.
That JRoy and MSmith are really good.
That Hback/TE Bech is a good one.

That I'm terrible at preseason projections.
That Coach O is in headed for the boiling pot.
That I'm already wishing it was the start of basketball season!

We have been lied to with all the hype of how good the hires of the new coaches are and how the Joe Brady RPO would be on display. We were lied to about how the offensive line returning all but one starter was going to really benefit the Joe Brady offense.

This is a direct reflection on CEO and his inability to hire the right people. These players deserve better, and I suspect recruiting efforts will suffer and more than a few will hit the transfer button at seasons end, to another school.

This will be a painful year for LSU in the SEC.

We learned that Coach E had more to do with Brady’s success than y’all gave him credit for. Coach E was an excellent OC who taught and supported Brady all year. Was Brady great? Yes! Could he have been that good “without” Coach E? Hell no!

We learned that any high school OC would be a better OC than Jake Peetz bc at least they would have “some” experience at play calling.

Coach E was a great teacher to Brady!

Its much better on defense,
we will see when LSU plays an offense that can throw and run consistently. Haven’t faced that yet. They made DTR look a lot better than he is which is concerning. They couldn’t stop UCLA run game at all. We will see if they are much better. I haven’t seen that yet

The best thing in Tiger Stadium last night was the weather
2nd best was the halftime band performance
As far as football, I felt like I was at a wake or visitation for what was once a proud program.

i'm with you on the long season; and would not be surprised if we have another 'Troy' type lose.

talent wasted on the field is painful to watch.

Liam Shanahan getting destroyed on every snap is the single biggest problem. There has to be someone else who can handle center.

4. #18 on Defense should not be starting. Strong showed superior angles, instincts, and tackling in this game.

I am not a Clark apologist but I keep seeing these comments without any thought as to who you would put in there. Clark is 6th in the SEC in tackles and most are solo. Our next best tackler by stats is Burns about 30 spots below him... How do we propose to replace those tackles in the lineup.

Back in the day when everyone was wailing on DJ Welter there was at least a person, Kendall Beckwith, who everyone thought should be the guy. Not seeing that other guy in this picture.

lol perhaps someone should remind the GENIUS, that McNeese St is NOT A POWERHOUSE, and the score doesn't even reflect the story...

WE ARE SOFT PUSSIFIED TEAM, NO ANGRY OFFENSIVE LINEMEN, NO NASTY MEAN DEFENSIVE LINEMAN, AND NO LEADERSHIP....

If you think our D is doing ok, Did we win against the POWERHOUSE UCLA TEAM? THEY OWNED EVERY BIT OF OUR DEFENSE...

I see ONE OBVIOUS WIN THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASAON and that's next week...

Orgeron pulling the reins way back on Peetz and offense in an attempt to keep Max Johnson upright. Slowing down game instead of letting Peetz do what he was hired to do.

That Woody will be introducing the new and 33rd head coach of LSU within the next 4-5 months...
