I cant imagine being someone who had to experience this first hand. These quotes are shocking, and terrible, but give a small bit of insight into what it was like that day from first-hand observers.

This one is incredible…

And the one that hits home the most…

Hug and kiss your family every single day. Tell them you love them. You never know when it’s our time to go and life is too short for grudges and hate.

God bless America

The Kevin Cosgrove phone call is chilling. The line cuts out right as the south tower collapses and he screams.

For those of you who don’t know about Fred Eichler, he and colleagues watched the second plane hit the tower 70 feet above them.

He remembers seeing into the cockpit moments before it hit. Incredibly, he survived.

His story is a good read…

Hard to read these but we must remember . Looks like these crazies are back in business. All these people kneeling and protesting against this country should maybe be sent to spend a few days with the taliban if they got it so bad here.

That Kevin Cosgrove 911 call is one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever heard. It’s terrible, but I also think it’s something people should hear.

Just listened to that phone call and it was tough to get through. His scream at the end, as the towers collapsed was chilling.

Like every anniversary, I watch interviews taped with the survivors. Most of them were recorded just a few years after the attacks.

I absolutely hate watching this footage. It infuriates me more than almost anything else possibly could. But I think it’s important to do this on 9/11 and try to keep that memory of the events and the people alive as much as I can.

It makes no logical sense. I have this irrational fear that people will get too busy eventually and forget what those people went through, the sacrifices so many made to save lives, and the major threat that radical Islamic terrorism poses to the civilized world.

Yup.
It's damn near impossible for me to listen to any of these phone calls not lose it, especially the ones from people on those flights.

Say their names. Listen to the calls. Watch the videos. Remember them.

For me it's the norad tapes. Those are the first people to know there was a major problem and exactly what was happening. Chilling

It's a long listen but necessary
