I think I started bidding at 300 with a buy it now of 750, but like I said, I'd rather someone here get it. I'm open to offers

The best Pre-built computer for around $1500? I don't really want to build again right now.

It's tough to just "get one" right now since most of them for MSRP deals are usually scooped up very quickly. I would keep an eye on r/buildapcsales and sort it by new to see when good deals pop up

Dont I need something with gsync?

You can get 1440p/165hz for like $250 if that's more in your price range

And just a (mostly) copy/paste from the gpu thread, if anyone is interested:

After a year to the fricking day of being in the queue, I hit on an EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming (10G-P5-3897-KL) yesterday. Per EVGA, my expected delivery date is around October 15th, but we'll see with all the now normal shipping delays.

Anyway, looks like market value is currently about $1,700. I'm out of pocket $1,000 with taxes and shipping, so I'm willing to part with it to someone on here for $1,350, though someone local could probably get me down to $1,300 if they can convince me they will actually game on the damned thing

If I don't get any bites here by time the card arrives, I'll probably just list it on FB marketplace or offer it up on Discord for full scalp.

that happened faster than I intended

If I push Tarkov on that monitor, will I lose a lot of performance streaming?

I welcome the competition in the space, but I have a feeling this is going to be underwhelming as shite first gen.

If Intel is smart, they will undercut AMD and Nvidia significantly enough to try and just get people on board than chasing early big profits on these things due to the market. Especially if they can stock these things.

I'm pretty sure they wont be smart about it though and just chase the early profits due to the market.

This is not a good early sign High prices for first Alchemist GPUs

~$800-$840 for 512EU model comparable to 3070
~$650-$570 for 384EU model comparable to 3060

I hate what crypto mining has done to the GPU market, just sucks. Back in 2019 we would have absolutely laughed our butt off over low-mid range GPUs like 3060's/6600's costing in the $600-$800 range.

"the good ole days" when RX580's were about ~$200 and less on sales

shite they were like $100 for the 8gb model on ebay at one point.

Thankfully I got my 3070 when I did and that I still only play one doo doo arse game, but I hope to get a 3080ti one day soon so I can give this 4k/144hz all the glory it deserves
