Left Lake Vista and staying with a relative in Abita Springs. Hopefully headed back tomorrow. Going to let my family hang out here until I have my transfer switch installed. Assuming we will at least be without power for several days.

Let us know how Lake Vista is looking tomorrow if you don’t mind. I live in that area too but don’t plan on going back until at least Tuesday

120 houses have gained power in my zip code since last night. It looks like the grid is SLOWLY waking up.

Yeah, I drove Airline through Prairieville this morning, and it looks like maybe a quarter or so of the businesses have power.
It was so weird yesterday driving on Essen and Bluebonnet in Baton Rouge and seeing traffic lights and some businesses open, and then to go over one more main road to Siegen and see everything dark and deserted.
Personally, my apartment in Baton Rouge doesn't have power, but my office does, so I'm working, because working in AC sure beats sitting at home in the dark and the heat.
