Chicken -for hurricane threads, is there anyway to highlight posts made by certain posters

For instance, if rds or Duke, or The Boat, etc make a post in the hurricane thread, could their posts appear as a different color or have a */star? In a similar fashion to the “top post” we see every now and then?
The shite posting will never go away. I don’t necessarily mind it. But if there are certain posters that provide pertinent info, can they be easily identifiable while scrolling?

There could be a thread started by one of them that is just for information and let the other thread be for general talk

It's easier to keep it in one thread tbh. What would end up happening is one of us answering questions in two threads.
Might be simpler to just link to rds and my post histories in the OP. Once there's a storm of significance going, it's going to be 100% hurricane thread posts.

It wouldn't be too hard to set up stickies for certain posters and then a separate thread for the rest of us to post "questions for the experts in the stickied thread".
Then the experts could field any legit questions and concerns. This would make the stickied thread much more efficient for us average users looking for good info, not the bullshite arguing by idiots.

Youll have to have Fred and Rummy very actively cleaning it up.
