I don’t see how we can afford it.

It would destroy many small businesses.

Yes there will be a shutdown. The Blue states will do it without hesitation. The Red States will be forced to when Biden threatens to withhold Federal dollars.

Posted earlier that I attended a school function today with about 500 faculty and staff present. Demographics were about 80-85% white, the rest black. Probably less than 3% of whites had masks on. Also, today, I saw where a neighboring county issued a statement that there would be no virtual learning option, only in-person.

I point out these examples to say, people ain’t falling for this BS this time around, in my neck of the woods, at. least.

It's coming but people will revolt. Those that shut down before can't do it again

No shutdown if everyone takes the vaccine and stops asking for election audits.

You speak as if this is a bug and not a feature.

I just listened to it. My take away was more fearmongering and mask and vaccine shaming. He didn't mention shut downs. Maybe I missed that part?

Easy way for blue states to keep getting tax payer money; great excuse for their horrible policies. 30 -100 trillion don't really matter, never could pay for 1 trillion

I’m in Fort Worth and happened to be in the Tarrant County Commissioners Court meeting this week. County judge said the *only* mandate they can make is regarding capacity at businesses and public places, which they can reduce to a maximum of 50%
A few commissioners asked if they had any other tools (masks, shutdowns, etc) and the judge said not allowed. He sounded like the reduction of capacity wasn’t likely either.

Texas is different of course because Governor Abbott said no mas on all the masks, shutdowns and everything else. Florida is the same, some other states may do the same.

Govt will want a shutdown so they can flood the country with ballots and allow illegal aliens to vote. That’s their formula. frick them all.
