"Shoutout to New Orleans because they did me right. Just being in Milwaukee is a blessing from god"
Aka “Thank you for sending me to a better franchise”

Hey after the bad publicity we've been receiving, I'll take anything I can get. This at least balances the JJ drama.

Balance? I think what Jrue says likely carries a lot more weight than what JJ says.
Of course, it's kind of damning with faint praise in that it makes us look like a feeder team.

It's better than whiny JJ for shite talking us for not paying him to go to Brooklyn

Happy to see Evil Jrue win a championship.

He was chasing a ring and isn't getting any younger. I don't begrudge him that.
He wasn't a baby back bitch like AD.

AD still hasn't thanked New Orleans yet.

I’m happy for Jrue and love his attitude and love for the city of New Orleans but damn how nice would it be to still have him as the veteran leader at PG? I know a lot of people think he’s more of a combo guard but i would be ecstatic having him play pure point guard for us again.

Same. Happy for Jrue. But we should have Zion AD and Jrue together. That plus fillers could have won the title this year.

It’s like I said:
Jrue winning >>>>CP3 & Monty winning
Jrue winning >>>>CP3 & Monty winning

Jrue will always be a real one and will ALWAYS BE A SON.
Idc how it could be construed, a star giving us praise for sending him where he wanted to go, aka us doing right by him, is something the FO really needed headed into the off-season. Will take any small wins we can get after what JJ said.
I hope Griff knocks this off-season out of the park and we are the next small market to explode on the scene. I'd be ecstatic just winning one playoff series next year. We don't need to have a Phoenix type year, we just need to show growth and improvement as a franchise. If Zion takes that leap that most superstars take between years 2-3 and our other young guys also make natural progressions. I personally think next year will be the year NAW makes a name for himself. He is ready to start, next to a quality veteran PG. Lillard, Lowry, Brogdon, etc.. doesn't have to be a big name, but we need a guy who can help lead us at the end of games, so we don't continue to blow huge leads in the 4th quarter. A veteran PG is exactly what we need. Exchange Bledsoe for a quality vet PG, get natural progression from the young core, sign and draft a few good shooters and wing defenders and this team could make the second round next year. Could have an Phoenix/Atlanta type jump on the scene. I am pulling for Griff.

By all accounts, Griffin tried to do the same thing for JJ..
The difference is -- Jrue offers you very good production while JJ offers you Space Jam 2 production

We didn't deserve Jrue!
You damn right. Half of the posters here talked bad about Jrue while he was here and wanted to get rid of him.
