I just hope the defense is better than 2019 was at any point. You know, like we were told last year.

I’ll wait till after UCLA game.

1st time Coordinators who have never called their own plays or installed their own scheme (and coming from the NFL to the college game where the players aren’t elite at every position)….this is going to be a wait and see thing. They might be great but you have to find out and they will probably have some growing pains along the way.

This is the first time I can remember in a long time where the defense has nowhere to go but up. It happens when you are as bad as the defense was last year. I'll wait until I see it. New DC, new defense. No one knows if this defense will be legit or not without playing a legit D1 team that isn't wearing purple and gold.
