Already pulled the trigger of YouTube tv both smart tv’s we have already have the YouTube tv app on the menu. Getting rid of the cable boxes and separate remotes with Xfinity on Monday goodbye 160.00 a month. Very nice selection of channels on YouTube tv and plenty of sports channels and 54 dollars for 3 months and 64.00 a month after. I also like the quality, local channels, and the channel guide. Last thing I can cancel at anytime

It's funny you are loving the cost because most have been complaining since the price was increased to 65 a few months ago. It started out at i believe 40 @ month like 2 years ago. I only turn youtube tv on for football season

Yeah YouTubeTV is really good, I’m super pleased with it since switching from Cox a couple years ago

I like that you can rearrange your guide to your preferences (hide channels I don’t like, put all sports channels together at top of guide, etc)…also like that I can log in while traveling and get “my TV” assuming where I’m at has streaming device or TV. And of course unlimited DVR

No boxes, no cords, lower TV bills…what’s not to like?

I had Hulu Live before YTtv and didn’t like the guide/menu on Hulu at all….YT is much better and more user-friendly and simple/sleek

i just made the switch a few weeks ago, i think youtubetv initially confused me because i wasn't sure of the platform or remotes etc. so i spent a afternoon doing some research etc, downloaded the app to the smart tvs and purchased a smart tv in place of a 15 year old plasma that didn't have a hdmi port. my savings will be about $195/month. i feel like an idiot that i didn't do this sooner. i'm also kicking cox internet to the curb in place of att fiber. we were playing cox over $300/month - its a damn crime.

right now i do

youtube tv-$65
hulu/disney+/espn bundle-$12
netflix- $16
amazon prime- free
discovery+ - $5.99 ( i cancel and resubcribe depending on what shows are out)
Epix- $2.99 for godfather of harlem
Hallmark movies now- $5.99

I will say i really do like youttube tv but i do hate the lag compared to cable. cant really check TD or social media during a game.

Also do not like how i cant flip back and fourth between games easy like a prev channel button.

moving into my new house i have to decide if I want to stay with the roku options with youttube tv or go with direct or suddenlink.

in the end between internet and cable I will be somewhere in the 150-215 cost depending on options.

i pretty much have the follwing options

1) streaming + suddenlink 1gig internet- $150
2) streaming + att 1gig fiber- $165
3) suddenlink cable and internet 1 gig- $200
4) Directv with att 1gig fiber- $215

problem for mainly comes in the cost of having so many tvs. I really need a minimum of 10 boxes and that pretty much pushes me to the streaming options.

anyone got a good suggestion on a remote for YTTV on roku or a better platform for YTTV?

I've been paying $160/month for DirecTV Xtra package + 1 gb fiber ($105 for TV, $50 for internet, + taxes). I've been delaying the jump to YoutubeTV for over a year now ecause DTV keeps giving me discounts to stay and I'm just not sure saving $40 a month is worth the sports delays, wife bitching about learning a new system, and wife bitching about losing a channel or two that she watches once every 3 months.

Got this already. I dropped ATT uverse at 160.00 with the 200 package plus all the fees they had and made the switch this pass weekend to youtube tv. Everything now is controlled by my smart tv remote no more separate boxes and remotes. Youtube tv is 54.00 a month and no separate fees. A saving of 100.00 a month and more channels I watch so

Find a baby boomer who has a terrestrial cable or sat subscription, get their account credentials, and login to the streaming apps listed with said credentials
