Onyemama is a beast but all the other DTs are still unproven. Shy Tuttle has shown promise but he'd be better off coming off the bench. Same for Roach and Glasgow. Signing someone like Jurrell Casey would give the d-line a steady veteran presence.

It would be nice to have a vet nose tackle like Malcolm Brown but you were going to have to cut corners and go cheap some places and unfortunately DT was the hardest hit on the team losing 2 quality starters and bringing in nobody to replace them. Even losing Rankins and Brown, we are still worse off at corner and LB. This years defense will either be a big surprise and be pretty good or it’s going to be very bad. I don’t feel like there’s going to be a middle ground.

So either top 10 or bottom 10? I think the middle ground, 11-21 is very likely

If this winds up being our biggest problem, it tells me that either Taysom or Winston has turned out to be the franchise guy we were hoping for... I could live with that

Those guys 3 years ago would have been crazy signings, anyone of them would bring solid depth.
