I, like many, work for a small local business. We almost never have a day off because we work our asses off making sure you have some of life’s necessities.
But I’m glad my tax dollars can fund yet another federal holiday that forces me to find child care, interrupts shipping channels, etc and then I get watch people who live off of my tax dollars enjoy a break from their stressful lives. Thanks, folks!

How far do we have to go? Seriously. Every black person has the same rights as everyone else. Not my fault that momma is a single parent of several children from multiple fathers. Not my fault that black men are likely to be killed by other black men or end up in jail.
