How bad is Boxing?

That it's biggest star is a f'ing youtuber who beats on non boxers and picks fights with 50 year old defensive boxers., and to add even more salt into the wound of boxing, they are having a Youtube vs tik tok'ers boxing match right now.

Cool observation. That’s not boxing. That’s pandering to the almighty $. You obviously don’t watch much if that is your take.

There was a time when boxing was king. Also, a time when organized crime was running the sport. Even today, I can't think of much that is seedier than a Bob Arum, still stealing loot from the top boxers for a century now. To say that corrupt scoring judges haven't just about destroyed the sport with the public perception then you aren't paying attention or just don't like boxing. How that's much different than Dana White getting filthy rich while his fighters get the money shaft seems about the same as boxing tradition.
The only guy I know that beat the system and got Bob Arum type money as a boxer was Floyd "Money" Mayweather. The guy is smarter than he looks, by a lot.

I have always been a fan of boxing but the crookedness took me away. Until they get better control of the scoring and there is even a sliver of honesty in it, it will always be a joke. If they are going to continue down the path they are on, they should just become like the WWE

What an awful take. I will agree that the Heavyweight division is and has been bad for a long time. However, the lower divisions have some absolutely legit boxers. If you actually watched boxing, you would know that, but you don't watch, so you make stupid statements like this.

Exactly...and comparatively speaking, UFC fighters don't make jack shite. UFC has a real reckoning brewing on their hands in the near future. Once some of these fighters realize they can make 10x the amount of money in Boxing, my guess is those upper weight division fighters will slowly start coming back.
