Remember the time

…that I posted a thread about how the LSU Admin had gotten such good feedback from staff & alumni about the positive changes with our Title 9 issues, that real change was taking place, that there was no way Tate would let this Casey hire happen? And that I had a ‘sauce’, an administrator that although was not directly involved in the search, said there’s no way they would jeopardize the goodwill for a Casey hire? No you don’t remember because it got whacked by Admins not 3 minutes after I posted.

I’m telling you, Vitello is the “mystery candidate” bc while it’s popular here, it’s not being discussed out in the open. But he won’t get the job unless something unforeseen happens.

No one that still has a season on-going has been directly spoken to. All those guys (Corbin, Godwin, Bianco, Vitello, etc) are all in play. This is the most coveted job in college baseball. They’ll all talk. If Woodward thinks “our guy” is done playing, you’ll hear about it. The pecking order is Corbin, McDonnel, Bianco. Godwin; they’re still doing due diligence on him & his (“Title 9” issues,” according to Jordy C). Those are legit but they are also on the periphery. Not directly tied to him, so I’d slide him between McD & Bianco on the wish list.

All that being said, if I had to put a wager on it, I’d bet on the Louisville coach, then a tossup between Godwin/Bianco.
