That looks fantastic. Wow. I was big into Goosebumps but never read Fear Street. This seems very different.

I “graduated” from Goosebumps to Fear Street - definitely a jump up in the maturity of the content. IMO Stine’s writing ability was hindered by catering to a younger audience with Goosebumps - I watched the movie for nostalgia’s sake. Not the case with Fear Street - there are some really good books.

Based off the dates in the title, I’d venture it’s going to be somewhat based off Fear Street Saga. Fun fact - they were never finished. The 15th book includes an ad for the next book, but it never came out.

So all three movies have received an R-rating. I'm definitely looking forward to their release. Reading the interviews with the filmmakers, these are basically slasher films - especially Fear Street Part 2: 1978.

quote:

Fear Street Part 1: 1994 – “Rated R for strong bloody violence, drug content, language and some sexual content.”

Fear Street Part 2: 1978 – “Rated R for bloody horror violence, sexual content, nudity, drug use, and language throughout.”

Fear Street Part 3: 1666 – “Rated R for strong violence and gore, language, some sexuality and brief drug use.”

Bloody Disgusting

I was pleasantly surprised. Interesting that they are going backwards in the story (somewhat). Don't worry thats not spoiler, its obvious from the release dates. Definitely has that RL Stine universe feel.
