The NFL is officially requesting proposals for future regular season games in Germany. The goal is to ID a host city.

ahh Germany... the main stomping ground of NFL Europe

Michael Lewis & Danny Wuerffel as members of the Rhein Fire

Jake Delhomme (while the Saints back-up QB) as a member of both the Amsterdam Admirals & Frankfurt Galaxy

Just bring back NFL Europe and let teams have farm teams...the damn Euro's don't know the difference between NFL level players and replacement level players.

So when Euro soccer giants come over and play in the States it’s for meaningless preseason trophies and it’s mainly their youth squads

Why not make all 32 teams play a preseason game in Europe and call it a day? Doesn’t affect your regular season and gives all the players and families a European vacation

Seriously, you let teams increase their practice squad to say 12 players. Let your division's practice squads form a team stationed in Europe. When NFL season ends, practice squad heads over to Europe to play.

You could get 8 teams and spread them out over Europe.

at least this way the NFL can stop the b.s. about expanding internationally and then only playing games in the UK and Mexico

Would be awesome

MSY had a direct flight to Frankfort - I assume it will return when people start traveling overseas again.

I know there’s lots of details to work out but the 2008 Saints/Chargers game at Wembley was wonderful to experience.

It had a playoff game feel to it.

Ran into Lance Moore the next morning at 6:00 am in the Green Park Subway station.
