You can bet that Minority Report & pre-crime is going to become a thing based on online tendencies

You can go ahead and slide Idiocracy up about 480 years.

Star Trek: First Contact focuses on April 4, 2063 which is when the Vulcans save us from ourselves

I would really like robocop to happen.
Throw all politics aside and people would obey the law with the quickness.
Or get shot in the dick.
Or get straight murdered by the next big OCP robot.
Hmmm.. nevermind.

Unfortunately modern society won't make it past Demolition Man.

I’d love to see some concept piece where the world of Star Trek leads to Logan’s Run and a short 5 years later Idiocracy.

What's cool is I could totally see the events of Demolition Man happening after the events of Children of Men

I just assume that Genders 3-37 know what to do with them.

i'd say that we as a society are closest to Demolition Man in actuality.

Language gets you in trouble. Elites want a utopia. We'd rather have virtual sex than real sex. Releasing violent people back into the street to continue mayhem, etc.

Also the Fast Food wars was a foreshadowing of the great chicken sandwich war of 2019-2020.

You sure it wouldn't be Taco Bell winning the fast food wars?

I mean, those two events - the three seashells plus Taco Bell - is just a recipe for disaster.

Also a friendly reminder that in less than 20 years we're going to be sending a starship into Hell by accident (the actual Event Horizon is sent off 7 years prior to the events in the movie).
