SVP mentioned it. Sitting a healthy Horford the whole time is one of the most egregious tanking moves I’ve ever seen.

He was supposed to be re-evaluated mid-April. I’m guessing he’s probably healthy enough to play but why bother.

He is an all-star. Once they sat both him and Horford, they went full tank with the youngsters. They are playing a bunch of rookies. They have uncovered a couple of gems. But they are no doubt intentionally losing. They want Cunningham bad.
Personally I don't like it. I understand the process. But losing intentionally is a horrible practice. All those young players know is losing. They just end up being losers. They are going to be loaded. But they were in contention for the play-in the first half of the season and were a fun team to follow..

OKC never plays during the marquee game slots so the league doesn’t care if they tank
Only reason the league really cares about tanking is to appease their tv partners that were tired of broadcasting a prime time game where the inactive list looked like a first team all nba ballot
